Beast Children summary: Sakura Shishigaya's passion for rugby burned bright, despite his lack of experience and small stature. The game captured his heart after watching Onotora "The Beast" Itsuki, a renowned rugby player whom he idolized. Unfortunately, Sakura could not pursue his interest during middle school due to lack of participation. But fate intervened when he met Yukito, Onotora's son. Though skeptical of Sakura's rugby skills at first, Yukito was astonished by his talent. Yukito provided Sakura with the opportunity to join Hyakkengawa's rugby team, a school he hoped to attend. Yet, Sakura was disheartened by Yukito's absence on his arrival at the school. Nevertheless, Sakura believed Yukito had a reason for bringing him there. Lucky enough to have Onotora as their coach, Hyakkengawa's rugby team formed a tight-knit group that Sakura enthusiastically embraced, despite being the newest member.
